Find your book in OneSearch.

Be sure to log in so you will have request options available.

Refine your results to books if you don't want things like articles, DVDs, etc.

Ebooks can be accessed immediately under the "View it" tab, request options for print books are in the "Find it" tab.

Make sure to select "Mail to Distance Ed. User" as your pickup location.

Western Libraries covers the cost of sending books to you and you will need to 

  • Mail it back before the due date
  • Drop it off at any Summit library
  • Or find another way to send it back

Request a book from a Summit library

First, click on the title of the book you would like to request

On the next page make sure that there is a library listed as owning it and click “Request Summit item.”

Choose Western Washington University from the list so you can log into your library account (do not choose the library you want to get the book from-- that process is entirely automated).

Log into your WWU Libraries account with your last name and W number.

Choose the Mail to distance education option from the list.
