Unfortunately, the books and other items at our off-campus locations only circulate among the faculty and students at those locations. There is no system in place to share off-campus collections and they are managed by the local office staff, rather than library staff.
If you would like a copy of the book, however, you can request it through Summit or ILLiad. Items in Summit typically arrive 5 business days after the request has been made and you will get an email notifying you when the book has arrived. ILLiad requests often take longer and should only be made for items Western Libraries and Summit libraries don't have.
If you have not made a request through Summit before you will want to take the following steps:
- Click the "Request Summit Item" button
- Choose Western from the list
- Log in with your last name and W#
- If you are faculty select "U-DocumentDelivery (faculty only)" and we will deliver it to your office, otherwise leave the location as circulation desk and you can pick it up at the library
- Click continue
