Q. How do I find a meta-analysis article on teaching ESL?

For a topic like this one it will probably be helpful to limit your search to just the PsycINFO database, that way you can use the special tool in there that can limit your results to meta-analyses.  In the example demonstrated here we created a search using the terms English as a Second Language [OR] English as a Foreign Language, limited to the past five years and peer-reviewed journals.

It is possible that none of these results will fit your topic perfectly, but some will probably be close enough to be useful as references.
