When you are in the Libraries' databases and Findit tells you that we have an article in print, and gives you a link to the library catalog, be sure to copy down the following information so that you can find the article you want:

  • The call number and location for the journal (this is the information in the catalog-- almost all journals are on Haggard Hall floor 3)
  • The volume, issue, and page numbers
  • Sometimes copying down the name of the journal and article title can be helpful. While the volume number often can be used in the place of the year, it can be helpful to copy that down too.

If you only copy the call number down you might get stuck looking through thousands of issues of a journal.
