Yes. We understand that sometimes there are good reasons why a faculty member may be unavailable to write a letter of support, such as sabbaticals or other leave time. In these cases please ask another faculty member familiar with the nature of the curriculum related to the project you completed to write the letter instead. This might be an advisor, faculty chair, or other member of the faculty in the same department or program.
