When the catalog indicates that something is on "reserve," that means that the item has been set aside and placed on "Reserve" with a restricted loan period for a particular class. Items on Reserve are located in the area next to the Haggard Hall side Circulation Desk on the second level. Checkout times for Reserve items vary, but the most common loan period is 1 day. DVDs also check out for 1 day and can be removed from the library.
Some reserve items are available as "digital reserves" with a 3-hour loan period, and are accessed by clicking on the files listed below the title in the library catalog.
Physical reserves are located next to the Circulation Department on the 2nd floor of Haggard Hall. Materials are organized alphabetically by course abbreviation and number (e.g., ANTH 102, BIOL 204, GLBL 201). DVD viewing stations are also located in the course reserves shelving area. Loan periods can range from 3 hours, 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days, as requested by the instructor.
Digital reserves can be checked out for 3 hours by clicking on the chapter title on the OneSearch catalog page (you must be logged in to see the clickable buttons). If an item is currently in use, an email-based waitlist option will appear. If no one is waiting, renewals are available.
Ebooks, ebook chapters, streaming videos, and journal articles are accessible directly from the Library Resources page. Some items may have download or printing restrictions set by the publisher or content provider.
Chapter scans and other scanned materials are provided as searchable PDFs and are intended for use by currently enrolled students under Section 107 of U.S. copyright law.
