Requesting books from Western Libraries

  • Find your book in OneSearch.
  • Be sure to log in so you will have request options available.

  • Refine your results to books if you don't want things like articles, DVDs, etc. 
  • Ebooks can be accessed immediately under the "View online."
    View it area
  • Request options for print books are under "Get it."

  • Make sure to select "Mail to Distance Ed. User" as your pickup location.

  • Western Libraries covers the cost of sending books to you and you will need to 
    • Mail it back before the due date

    • Drop it off at any Summit library

    • Or find another way to send it back

  • Choose the Mail to distance education option from the list.
