Q. I'm not a student, can I check-out books from Western Libraries?

Western Libraries is part of the Whatcom Libraries One Card Program, meaning those with a card from the following libraries can check out items from Western Libraries.

• Bellingham Public Library
• Whatcom County Library System
• Whatcom Community College
• Bellingham Technical College
• Northwest Indian College

To check out items, bring your card to the Circulation desk along with a photo ID and proof of current address, and an account will be set up for you.

At Western, One-Card members can check out up to ten items at one time. Other libraries may have different limits and restrictions.
