The system we use in our library to organize books is the Library of Congress classification system. In that system all fiction is included with all other forms of literature, such as poetry, and these are often organized by the region the literature came from. The benefit of using this system is that it puts all of an author's works in the same place. Most of what you might be looking for would be where the call numbers for the books start with PN, PR, or PS. All of these are located on the fourth floor of the Wilson side of the library.

If we don't have the book you are looking for you can often request a copy from one of our partner Summit libraries or you can request it through the Bellingham Public Library catalog and have it delivered to WWU for pickup or visit a public library branch (the WWU community can get public library cards).
