Generally, no, the Western Libraries does not collect textbooks because they become obsolete too quickly and we would have less ability to purchase in-depth research resources. In a few instances you will be able to find textbooks in our library catalog. When that is the case and the book is not on reserves you may place the book on hold for pickup later. For literature courses, and other classes where textbooks are not the main reading material, you are more likely to be able to find class-related books.

When you do find a book in the catalog that you would like to have put aside for you to pick up later you may place a request through the catalog for it.
