Students can purchase (or rent) textbooks from the Associated Students Bookstore, online, or from other bookstores. Visit the online AS Bookstore website to find the list of textbooks needed for current courses: http://www.bookstore.wwu.edu. The individual instructor makes the final decisions about course book usage.

- Project Gutenberg is a source of free e-books
- Bookboon - free educational materials, mostly business or economic topics
- Mobilism - a platform where students share e-books, including textbooks
- Goodreads Free Shelves
- Open Library a great resource for students as they also have a large catalog of textbooks available for free
2. Visit your campus library
3. Join online communities of students
4. Visit The Digital Public Library of America (DPLA)
4. Online bookstores can rent textbooks https://booksrun.com/books/rent
5. Ask your professor if he or she can recommend alternative resources for your course material.
