There are a couple of article databases that might be useful for this search.  I would recommend checking out the list of databases here: http://libguides.wwu.edu/environmental_studies_databases.  Also on that page is a profile for our librarian who specializes in Environmental Studies, Rob Lopresti.  He may know of some other resources that would be useful for this topic if you wanted to contact him.

Searching in the Biological and Medical Sciences database for Salmon and Spawn and Geomorphology had the following results that might be useful (note: the links may not work in this email-- in this database the best way to get these articles is to replicate the search)

The only result that I could find in GreenFILE is one called We Be Jamming.
 
You might also consider search Google Scholar.  Using the same terms as above I got the results linked here.  If you search Google Scholar from on campus, or go into settings to have it recognize you as a Western user, it will often give you links to the full text of the articles.
