There are two possible hold types you might be encountering when using library services: holds that are placed on books and other items so that we pick them off the shelf and hold them at the circulation desk until you pick them up and holds on your student account from fees or fines that may prevent you from checking items out (these are the same holds that may prevent you from registering).

Both holds can viewed online. Library book holds can be viewed in your library account. You can get to that by going to the library homepage (library.wwu.edu) and clicking the "renew materials" link in the upper right corner.  Then click on Renew WWU Libraries Materials / Access your library record. Financial holds on your account can be viewed in Web4U under your student account information.
