Any books dropped off through the Whatcom Library System will make their way back to us as part of the Whatcom One Card program. When Western items are dropped off at Whatcom public libraries they don't get checked in by the staff there, that doesn't happen until the book is delivered to us. Deliveries to Western currently only happen twice a week. The public library staff, however, will put a note on the book with the drop off date and we will backdate the return date to that day. That means that you may temporarily see the book listed on your account as checked out, but it will show as checked in on the day you dropped it off once we get it.
