Works copyrighted before 1950 and renewed before 1978 - initial term of 28 years plus a renewal term of 67 years (total of 95 years).
Works created before Jan. 1, 1978 but not published by that date – life of the author plus 70 years or 95/120 rule.
Works created on or after Jan. 1, 1978 – life of the author plus 70 years. Works for hire or anonymous will be 95 years from date of publication or 120 years from date of creation.
