Yes, guests of Western Washington University can use the public Wi-Fi to connect a personal smartphone, tablet, or laptop to the Internet. No guest account or password is required to connect to WWUwireless-Guest.
Instructions:
- Browse for available wireless networks from your device’s wireless settings and select WWUwireless-Guest
- Read the Terms of Service and click/tap the Accept button
- Click/tap Done when you see the Western home page. You will now be able to connect to the Internet from your Web browser or other applications throughout campus (wherever WWUwireless-Secure is available).
**Please note: Visitors are not able to access the Libraries' databases on the public Wi-Fi. If you are a scholar from another college seeking to use libraries' databases for research purposes, please inquire at the Circulation Desk (in Haggard 2) or the Research & Writing Studio (in Haggard 2).
