Yes! Western Libraries is open to visitors. Anyone is welcome to access our collections during regular business hours.

  • Residents of Whatcom County may check out materials as part of the Whatcom One Card program.
  • Students and faculty from other Summit Libraries may also check out materials.
  • The public may use our public access computers for one at a time (maximum 3 hours per day).
  • Visiting scholars can inquire about getting a guest researcher pass for increased computer and wifi access.
