To search for a specific title:

  • In the OneSearch box key your title (ex. The Godfather)
  • Under Format click "More options" then choose video format (streaming, DVD, etc.)
  • If you want to limit to only those NOT checked out under Show Only click “At WWU"

To browse a list of videos:

  • Click the “Advanced Search” link to the right of the OneSearch button
  • From the dropdown menu that says Any choose “in subject”
  • Jump to the empty box and type “feature film”
  • At the right for Format choose “Video”
  • Click search

  • In the search results click "At WWU" for titles only at Western, otherwise the results will include videos from partner libraries

  1. How do we access Kanopy, a film database to which Western subscribes?

  2. Kanopy can be accessed via the databases list from the Libraries homepage. I'm also including a link here for convenience: https://ezproxy.library.wwu.edu/login?url=https://wwu.kanopy.com
