As of 1/10/2017, Western Libraries held or had access to about 1.5 million books, videos, and other information sources. Please note, this does not include tens of millions of journal articles via online subscriptions nor items available from our Summit partner libraries and via inter-library loan.
Here are some details:
All physical items held by the library (Heritage Resources, Music, Map Collection, and Western Library), excluding maps, posters, games, and equipment.
- 769,007 print books and media
- 131,405 print journal issues
- 159,220 microfiche and microfilm
Additionally, we have access to the following numbers of electronic items
- 331,840 ebooks
- 107,036 forms of electronic media (streaming video and audio)
