Q. A digital object in MABEL is not available online, or has "restricted access". What does that mean?

Some digital objects in MABEL are restricted to specific user groups and will not be visible to the public. In a limited number of cases, the description/metadata for an object will display to the public, but a digital representation of that object may be unavailable. Check the "details" information for more information, and contact the object custodian/repository if you have any questions.
