Unfortunately, not all materials can be streamed due to license or other complexities.

General information on Using Video in Your Course includes information related to purchasing streaming materials. Information on how faculty can request that the library purchase a license for streaming video is also available in the Media Guidelines, use the streaming media request form to request the purchase of a streaming license.

If you have shown DVDs in class and want to know if they are available via streaming video, you can search Just.Watch.com to see if a video is available for streaming and through which platform, as well as to determine if it’s free or if there is a cost. In general, converting DVDs to streaming is not possible due to licensing, but there can be exceptions in some cases. Contact the Media Librarian, Jeff Purdue, for help.
