Partnership Benefits

  • Improved student outcomes: adaptive learning strategies, reflective thinking, long-term skills

  • More time to support your class in the ways that only you can

  • Increased sense of community for asynchronous classes

  • Creates an always-available connection students can rely on through graduation

What could a partnership look like? Here are just a few examples.

Example 1: Canvas Discussions

Studio Assistants could participate in canvas discussion teams to offer an outside perspective and feedback for students’ works-in-progress

Example 2: One-on-One or Group Partners

Your students could use Zoom or chat to meet with a Studio Assistant every other week for support with a group or individual project.

Example 3: Feedback Screencasts

The Studio could provide feedback for the whole class after each round of assignment drafts is submitted, either individually or combined around whole-class patterns. Combined feedback clarifies important skills and strategies quickly, and can create a sense of "learning together" instead of "struggling alone."
