There could be a number of reasons why this is not working, but chances are it is because you need to reauthorize (or authorize for the first time) your Zotero connector. Follow these steps to get that set up:

  1. In your browser, find your Zotero icon and right click, or control click on a Mac.
  2. That should give you a menu where you can select Options.

  3. Once you have the options up, click the "Reauthorize" button and log in with your Zotero account in the popup window.
