If you are graduating, or otherwise leaving Western behind, you might need to change your Zotero email address if you used your WWU email during your account setup. Changing your email has no impact on your Zotero account, since it not associated with WWU (we just support it because it is an awesome tool and students get to take it wherever they go in life).

To do that:

  1. Go to https://www.zotero.org/settings/account
  2. Log in and add the new email address
  3. Validate it once you get sent the validation link
  4. Set the new email address as your primary email
  5. With the app, you can be logged in by using either your primary email address or Zotero handle. If you used your WWU email, make sure to go into the app and update your login info with the new email. You can do that in the preferences.
