Q. What is the total collection size of all WWU libraries collections?

As of April 15, 2024, Western Libraries has approximately:

• 1,037,000 physical books, journal volumes, and musical scores
• 105,000 DVDs, CDs, maps, and other audio/visual media formats

In our electronic collections, we have approximately:

• 1,020,000 ebooks
• 126,000 journals
• 228,000 streaming videos and audio tracks

These numbers do not include items in our Archives & Special Collections, as these include materials like organizational records and collections of personal letters.
