Font and emphasis:
- Press CTRL+D to open the font dialog box. Focus will be in a list of font types. Down arrow through the list until the desired option is reached, or start typing the first few letters of the font name and arrow down to find it; e.g., type the letters ti and arrow down to Times New Roman.
- Press TAB to move to the font style area. Use the up or down arrow key to select “regular”.
- Press TAB to move to the font size area. Use the up and down arrow to select the desired font size, such as 12.
- From here, press ENTER to close the dialog box and return to the document, or press TAB to continue to options for font color and additional formatting.
- Toggle bold on/off: CTRL+B
- Toggle italics on/off: CTRL+I
- Toggle underline on/off: CTRL+U
